Southwest Airlines Adds Four Daily Nonstop Flights in Six Cities
Airline Grows Existing Service with New Flights

Southwest announced today the addition of several new flights within the airline's existing network, including more nonstop flights to cities such as Phoenix, Manchester, Las Vegas, Raleigh-Durham, and Salt Lake City. With the additional service, Southwest will have its first nonstop flight between Manchester (Boston area) and Phoenix, which allows Boston Customers more options in travel and complements the existing nonstop flight between Providence and Phoenix. Southwest will also add a second nonstop between Las Vegas and Raleigh-Durham. Flights are available for booking today for travel beginning as early as August 2007. BEGINNING August 26, 2007: -- One new daily nonstop roundtrip between Manchester (Boston area) and Phoenix. -- One additional daily nonstop roundtrip between Phoenix and Salt Lake City (for a total of eight). BEGINNING October 4, 2007: -- One additional daily nonstop roundtrip between Las Vegas and Raleigh-Durham (for a total of two). -- One additional daily nonstop roundtrip between Las Vegas and Seattle (for a total of four).
Southwest is offering special fares for the new nonstop flight between Manchester and Phoenix. Customers can take advantage of $99 one-way fares on this new service. These 14-day advance purchase fares are available for purchase beginning today through August 26, 2007, for travel beginning August 26, 2007, through the end of the schedule, currently November 2, 2007.
NEW SERVICE FARE SALE RULES
The Manchester to Phoenix fare is available for nonstop flights only for purchase today through August 26, 2007. All tickets must be purchased 14 days in advance. When combining fares, all ticketing restrictions apply. Seats are limited. Fares may vary by destination and day of travel and will not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods. Fares do not include a federal segment tax of $3.40 per takeoff and landing. Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges (PFC) of $4.50 one-way and U.S. government-imposed September 11th Security Fees of $2.50 one-way. Fares are subject to change until ticketed. Tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Fares are valid on Southwest-operated published, scheduled service only and are not available through the Group Desk.
