Southwest Airlines Announces San Francisco International Fares and Schedules

              Customers Can Begin Booking SFO Flights This Week

     WHAT:   Southwest Airlines announces its flight schedule and fares from
             San Francisco International Airport.  Executives will be on hand
             for questions and interviews.

     WHEN:   Friday, May 11

     WHERE:  Plot 40, San Francisco International Airport (across the runway)

             Directions:
             Take North Access Road off US Highway 101
             To the Airfield Services Parking Lot
             Enter the Airfield Service Office and you will be escorted to the
             conference

     WHY:    Southwest Airlines is beginning service at San Francisco
             International Airport this fall.  Southwest is announcing its
             fares and schedules Friday. Customers can then begin booking
             flights. SFO will be Southwest's 64th destination systemwide and
             its ninth California city.  Southwest operates more than 3,300
             daily nonstop departures and has more than 33,000 Employees.
