DALLAS, Jan. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) announced a tentative agreement (TA) with Transport Workers Union Local 557, the union representing the Company's Flight Instructors. The agreement comes just four weeks after the group's current contract became amendable.

During the next few weeks, the Union will share terms of the agreement with its members who will then conduct a ratification vote. If approved, the new contract would be amendable at the end of 2019.
